Gary Bloch is a family physician in Toronto, with St. Michael’s Hospital and Inner City Health Associates and an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. His clinical, education, program development, research and advocacy interests focus on the intersection between social risks to health and front line health care. Dr. Bloch has led the development of internationally recognized clinical tools, and the development of clinical programs and educational curricula. He serves as his Family Health Team’s Physician Lead on Social Interventions and Equity.  He is a co-founder of Inner City Health Associates and the advocacy group Health Providers Against Poverty.
