Carolina Gómez-Moreno is a Geriatrician currently working as part of the Geriatrics division in the Emergency Department at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition “Salvador Zubirán”. As part of this role, she is also involved in Clinical Education of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics residents in emergency medicine context. Her fields of interest also include geriatric oncology specifically shared decision making and ageism in oncology care.

She is also an active participant of the organization #WomenInGeriatrics, a Mexican group for the advancement of female Geriatricians in clinical and scientific fields. She is part of the Young SIOG interest group which is comprised of junior members of SIOG (International Society of Geriatric Oncology).
