Heather MacNeill is an Associate Professor and Faculty Lead, Educational Technologies, CPD, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Canada. She is Medical Director of Stroke Rehabilitation and a practicing physiatrist (PM&R) at Sinai Health System. She has been teaching about, creating, and researching the effect of educational technologies in healthcare for over a decade, and co-instructs a masters and certificate course in Educational Technologies for Health Professions Education. Her research interests include faculty development in technology enhanced teaching & patient care, including aspects of accessibility and inclusivity, such as the AMEE Guide on Online learning in health professions education.​
