Howie Fruitman has been an instructional designer for the last twelve years, working in non-profit, for profit, and government agencies. He currently works as an Education Specialist in the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health’s Simulation Centre. He is passionate about incorporating equity into all aspects of simulation design and development, ensuring that the voices of those with lived experience help shape the scope and outcomes of training events. Howie is always ready to collaborate and “talk shop” about the ways in which instructional design processes for simulation can be more equitable across diverse modalities.
