Sofia Valanci is the program advisor for the learning directorate at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, where she has had her hand in shaping the new Maintenance of Competence framework and a peer coaching learning asset. Dr. Valanci trained as a general surgeon in Mexico and has lived experience on the microculture of medicine. She has expertise in coaching in healthcare to empower growth among physicians and is very interested in the multiple applications of generative AI in CPD.
